About Course

Master the enterprise network services infrastructure that acts as the bedrock of modern IT operations. This specialized training program focuses on deploying, configuring, and managing distributed enterprise infrastructure using the Infoblox NIOS platform. You will gain deep, hands-on architectural expertise in managing DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), and IPAM (IP Address Management) collectively inside the centralized Infoblox Grid.

Designed for network engineers, infrastructure architects, and system administrators, this course bridges the gap between raw core network protocols and enterprise-scale high availability, security, and automation.

Includes

  • The Infoblox Grid Architecture: Master Grid Setup, Grid Manager navigation, High Availability (HA) pairs, and Managing Grid Members.

  • Enterprise DNS Operations: Authoritative and Caching DNS setup, Forwarding, Resource Records, DNS Views, and Anycast deployments.

  • Advanced DHCP Engineering: DHCP Scopes, failover configurations, DHCP Objects, Extensible Attributes, and custom options.

  • Comprehensive IPAM: Real-time IP address space management, network container views, conflict detection, and batch import/export via CSV.

  • Dynamic Integration & Security: Configuring TSIG, GSS-TSIG, Dynamic DNS (DDNS) handling, and security fundamentals.

  • System Operations: Scheduled maintenance tasks, user access control, remote authentication, and execution of NIOS upgrades.

  • Real-World Live Labs: Simulated production issue resolution, grid backup restores, and deployment troubleshooting

What Will You Learn?

  • Build & Manage Infoblox Grids — Master the deployment of Infoblox NIOS and establish robust Grid Master/Member relationships for seamless enterprise database replication.
  • Configure Enterprise DNS & Security — Create authoritative and recursive DNS zones, implement DNS views, and safeguard your infrastructure against protocol exploits using DNSSEC and Threat Defense.
  • Deploy Fault-Tolerant DHCP Services — Structure automated IPv4 and IPv6 DHCP scopes, configure network options, and set up DHCP Failover pairs for high availability.
  • Automate IPAM & Detect Rogue Devices — Organize your entire network canvas using smart folders, track resources dynamically, and run Network Discovery to locate unmanaged or rogue infrastructure elements.
  • Leverage Extensible Attributes & RBAC — Tag network infrastructure with custom metadata using Extensible Attributes (EAs) and implement strict security access parameters using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Drive Cloud Automation via REST/WAPI — Integrate Infoblox into modern DevOps toolchains using web APIs (WAPI) to automate IP allocation for cloud and container deployments.
